POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sales Director is responsible for selling our entire service offering to prospective clients. The Sales Director will be expected to meet or exceed annual sales and gross profit goals as determined by the Vice President, Sales. The Sales Director is responsible for meeting or exceeding targets in prospecting activity and documenting this activity in our Customer Relations Management (CRM solution) and in our Sales Journal tool provided. The Sales Director is responsible for maintaining strong client relationships. This position is responsible for assisting in conceptualizing and designing appropriate programs for clients and prospective clients. At least weekly, the Sales Director will be responsible for communicating to the Vice President, Sales the status of his/her prospecting efforts, overviews of key meetings and active client programs. Responsibilities also include completing correspondence, drafting contracts/letters of agreement, documenting opportunity briefs and alerting Account Services to the client's expectations.

A degree in Marketing or related field is preferred
EXPERIENCE:
This position requires a minimum of 3-5 years experience successfully selling event marketing, advertising agency or other relevant intangible services to major Consumer products/service companies
Previous P&L responsibility and PC experience is expected.
A strong "rolodex" of potential clients in Consumer products/Consumer services industry is strongly preferred
SKILLS:
Individual must be out-going, persistent, resourceful, and goal-oriented.
The individual must be able to "think on his/her feet" and have the ability to conceptualize potential programs with clients, while comprehending the various logistical and pricing parameters.
Additionally the individual must possess strong oral, presentation and written communication skills and thrive in a fast paced environment.
Flexibility and the ability to work autonomously are also critical traits.

Primary Objective of Position:
Primary responsibilities of this position to recruit, hire, retain and lead a high performing team of software engineers, and collaborate with business and technology teams.
Essential Functions/ Principle Accountabilities:
Provide leadership to a team of developers in regards to design, implementation and support of high performance multi-tier software applications.
Deliver on all human resources goals including recruiting, hiring, retention, performance reviews and mentoring.
Estimate engineering efforts; build solutions that meet requirements for functionality, performance, scalability and reliability.
Effectively collaborate in a fast paced environment with multiple teams (Program Management, QA/Test, Content Operations and Network Operations).
Manage on-call production support and ensure operational excellence for the company's multi-tenant delivery.
Create an environment that enables innovation and fun.

Oversee of 20+ software development engineers.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Requires sitting for prolong period of time, and using a computer and mouse and/or other related
devices. Must be able to perform duties on a regular basis with consistent attendance. Also be able to lift up to 35 lbs from the floor to desk surface without any assistance, mechanical or otherwise.
Work is mainly performed in a normal office environment. Noise levels are usually moderate.
Hazards: Only these present in a normal office setting; no known hazards.
Education, Work Experience and Skills required (qualifications):
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other comparable technical discipline, and/or equivalent work experience.
MBA or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related area a plus.
5+ years of recent experience in recruiting, motivating, energizing and managing a team of high performing software engineers while also gaing their respect.
7+ years of recent deveopment experience including solid experience with designing/coding highly scalable systems, multi-tiered solutions and supporting high-availabiltiy production applications.
Mimimiun of 3 years of on-the-job/hands-on experience with the following C++, JAVA, SQL and C#.
A proven record of architecting and implementing large-scale software services.
Experience developing Internet products and technologies.
Thorough knowledge of software development best practices including design, documentation, source code control, code-reviews, unit testing, defect tracking and release management.
Expereince in online delivery solutions and digital media.
Strong organizational and commucation (written & spoken) skills.
Demonstrated success in problem-solving, generating solutions, and managing workload.
